Maps and Clubs of Montmartre during the 1920´s
Paris is divided in 20 districts arranged as the spiral of a snail. Montmatrte is located on the 18th district (18ème arrondissement in French). The Clubs and Cabarets of the 1920's, where Jazz was played, were mostly located on the 9th district and also on the 18th district, that is to say, in Pigalle (down Montmartre´s Hill).
